Tundra Grey is a honed marble for indoor floors and walls, supplied in 610x406x12mm, 610x610x15mm and 914x457x15mm tiles. The colour is a mid grey with soft cloudy movement rather than strong veining, which is why it works in rooms where a dramatic marble would take over. Kitchens, hallways, bathrooms and full living floors are the usual applications.
Honed means the face is ground smooth and left matte instead of polished. Underfoot that reads softer and shows scuffs less than a gloss finish, and it is the safer choice for floors generally. Like all marble, Tundra Grey should be sealed at installation and wiped up promptly after acidic spills, wine and citrus being the usual offenders. That is routine marble ownership rather than a flaw.
The large 914x457mm format lays with few joints and makes smaller rooms feel bigger.
