Premium Classic travertine in an unfilled, tumbled finish. This is the classic Mediterranean look: warm beige stone with open pores and softened tumbled edges, the finish most people picture when they think of travertine around a pool. Tiles are 12mm for indoor floors, pavers are 30mm for outside, and both come in sizes from 406x406mm through 610x610mm plus French pattern sets.
Unfilled means the natural surface holes are left open rather than factory filled. Outdoors that is an advantage. The open texture drains and grips, which is why unfilled tumbled travertine is such a common pool surround. Grout partially fills the pores at installation, and the remaining texture is part of the look. Indoors, most installers grout-fill the face flush for easier cleaning.
The beige tone runs light to mid with soft movement, and it pairs with matching bullnose pool copings for the pool edge. Because tiles and pavers come from the same material, an indoor floor can run out to an alfresco with only a thickness change at the sill.
