Monaco marble pavers, tumbled and antique finish, in 600x400mm at 15mm, 20mm and 30mm plus French Pattern in 20mm and 30mm. Monaco is a light grey marble with gentle movement, even-toned enough to lay over a big area without it getting busy.
The Light Grey That Works With Dark
Monaco grey marble gets specified most often against darker elements: charcoal render, black window frames, dark decking, a black pool interior. The light grey lifts those without the starkness of white, and the antique finish stops it looking like polished bathroom stone outdoors. If you want more figure and variation in the stone, Valas is the mottled alternative in a similar palette.
Finish and Grip
Tumbled edges and a worn antique face give Monaco a soft, settled look and decent wet grip, which is why it turns up around pools and on verandahs. Standard marble care applies: seal it, use pH-neutral cleaners, and do not let acids sit on it.
Choosing a Thickness
The 30mm pavers go on compacted road base with bedding sand, or on a reinforced slab for driveways. The 15mm and 20mm are on-slab formats for interior floors, covered terraces and wet areas; the interior detail is on the Monaco tiles page. French Pattern in either thickness suits larger courtyards where a straight grid would look rigid.
