Honey Jesper, Honey Jasper
The stone is sold under both spellings and a good share of the searches that reach us use Jasper with an “a”. It is the same granite either way. Worth knowing if you are comparing quotes, since two suppliers may list what looks like two products.
Colour
Honey Jesper is a warm golden granite with darker flecking through it. It sits between a beige limestone and a true gold sandstone in tone, with granite’s harder speckled texture rather than sedimentary banding. Against timber and warm brick it disappears comfortably; against cool grey render it fights a little.
Using It Indoors
Granite tiles handle interior traffic better than almost anything else. They do not scratch from grit the way limestone does, they do not etch from a spilled lemon the way marble does, and they need no sealing to stay durable. The exfoliated face here is textured rather than smooth, so it belongs in entries, laundries and bathrooms rather than a formal living floor.
One practical note on any dense granite tile: the material is heavy and hard, so cutting needs a proper wet saw with a diamond blade. It is not a stone to attempt with a hand cutter.
